Refund Policy:

 No refunds will be issued once uniforms have been ordered. **ALL AGE DIVISIONS SUBJECT TO CHANGE**

1. General Rules:

  • All play is based on State High School Association rules, except where modified below.

2. Uniforms:

  • Home teams wear white, visiting teams wear colored uniforms. 
  • Crowned Elite will provide jerseys for all registered individuals, except for those in AAU Divisions.

3. Program Overview: **age divisions subject to change**

  • Age is determined by the player’s age on January 1.
  • Players can play up a division but not down.
  • Divisions:
    • 5-6 yr old (5v5 Full Court, 8 ft rim, 25.5 ball size)
    • 7-8 yr old (5v5 Full Court, 8 ft rim, 27.5 ball size)
    • 9-11 yr old (5v5 Full Court, 10 ft rim, 28.5 ball size)
    • 12-14 yr old (5v5 Full Court, 10 ft rim, 29.5 ball size)
    • 15-17 yr old (5v5 Full Court, 10 ft rim, 29.5 ball size)

4. Game Day Expectations

  • Teams should arrive 15 minutes before game time.
  • A starting lineup must be submitted to the Official Scorekeeper 10 minutes prior to the game. The lineup must include the player's last name, first name, and jersey number.

Biddy Ballers(5-6yrs): Official games consist of two 12-

minute halves with a running clock.

  • Substitutions will be made at a dead ball near the 4-minute mark, but players will not line up. Coaches are responsible for ensuring players know their defensive assignments before entering the game. 

7-11 yrs divisions: 5v5 full court.

  • Game Length: Two 14-minute halves (running clock).
  • Start of Game: Jump ball at mid-court.
  • Clock Stops: For timeouts, substitutions, injuries, and at officials' discretion.
  • The clock will only stop during the last minute of each half.

12-14 yrs divisions: 5v5 full court

  • Game Length: Two 16-minute halves (running clock).
  • Start of Game: Jump ball at mid-court.
  • Clock Stops: For timeouts, substitutions, injuries, and at officials' discretion.

The clock will only stop during the last minute of each half.

 

15+ divisions: 5v5 full court.

 Game Length: Two 20-minute halves (running clock).

  • Start of Game: Jump ball at mid-court.
  • Clock Stops: For timeouts, substitutions, injuries, and at officials' discretion.

 

7. Defense Rules:

  • Biddy Ballers 5-6 yr olds: Man-to-man defense only; no ball stealing.
  • 7-10 yr olds: Man-to-man defense; no double teaming outside the 3-point line.
  • 11-14 yr olds: Can play man-to-man or zone defense. Full court defense is allowed in the last 2 minutes, or if losing by 10 points or more.

 

6. Fouls & Free Throws:

  • 5 fouls: Player is disqualified.
  • 5-6 yr olds: No free throws, ball is taken out of bounds.
  • Free throws: 1 shot for each point, based on the situation.
  • Bonus Free throws: One shot for two points after 7 team fouls.

7. Overtime:

  • 1st overtime: Two-minute period, sudden death.
  • 2nd overtime: Free throw shootout (no overtime for 5-6 yr olds).

8. Substitutions:

  • Scheduled every 5 minutes. All players must play at least 4 periods and no player can play more than 6 unless necessary.
  • Free substitution allowed in the last 5 minutes.

9. Sportsmanship & Conduct:

  • Unsportsmanlike conduct leads to ejection.
  • Only head coaches may speak to referees.
  • Complaints go to the program director or facility director.

 

Forfeiture Policy

  1. Forfeit Penalty:
    • In the event that a team cannot meet the minimum player requirement or is otherwise unable to participate in a scheduled game, a forfeit fee of $75 will be assessed.
  2. Payment Requirement:
    • The forfeit fee must be paid before the team’s next scheduled game. Failure to pay the forfeit fee may result in further penalties, including suspension of the team from further games until the fee is cleared, or removal from league play.

   3.  Failure to provide notice will result in additional penalties, including loss of eligibility for playoffs.

No Refund for Forfeited Games:

    • There will be no refunds or rescheduling of games for forfeits.

 

Practice Information:

  • Crowned Elite does not monitor or provide practice schedules. Contact your coach for your team's practice days and times.
  • The practice schedule is the sole responsibility of each team.

Team Assignments: Draft format

  • Players will be divided into teams based on age, ability, and skill level in draft format. Crowned Elite Sports draft have the sole discretion in making player assignments.

 

LEAGUE RULES:

1: ALL COACHES WILL RECEIVE A COACHES SHIRT AND MUST BE WORN.

2: $50 fine for not cleaning up your sideline after the game (all trash etc).

3:$50 fine for yellow cards received from referees.

4: All FINES MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY THE THURSDAY THE FOLLOWING WEEK, UNPAID FINES RESULT IN TEAM FORFEIT OR **REMOVAL FROM LEAGUE.
